I cannot explain how furious I am over this. I don’t know when I have been so upset about anything. There is no stopping them. They will force Christian churches to “marry” homosexuals. It is coming. Unless we get Christians into positions of decision-making, we will lose and lose bad.
Christians in large numbers will need to be willing to be persecuted for their faith by refusing to play their game.
We already supposedly did that by electing “Christian conservative governors” like Mike Pence in Indiana and Asa Hutchinson in Arkansas but notice how quickly they folded when the big corporations-business elite demanded it last month.
They and their Republican legislatures caved in on religious freedom laws just like that.
I don’t care about the faith of leaders as much as their commitment to our Constitution and its First Amendment freedoms including speech and religion.
America should be a country where religious people can say gay people will go to hell and a country where gay people can say that religious should go to hell.
Combining Christianity and the Republican Party was proven to be a very empty combination last month.
