When you think about it, when it comes to the Buffalo Bills, our mascot/logo centers on the city name and not on the team nickname. No one even thinks about what a ‘Buffalo Bill’ is. The name, which came out of the old All-American Football Conference of the 1940’s was a reference/homage to Buffalo Bill Cody, who, of course, was a cowboy/indian fighter/showman from the nineteenth century. Logically, the logo should be of mustachioed indian fighter, but it is not. It is a charging Buffalo.

If he won’t do it
His buffalo will.
