The two Michigan women lost in the wilderness for almost 2 weeks survived on Girl Scout cookies and cheese puffs, police say.

Leslie Roy, 52, and her sister Lee Marie Wright, 56, were on vacation in a remote part of Michigan when they became stranded by heavy snow on April 11.

According to police, the two women rationed food and gas as they tried to stay warm in their SUV.

"They survived on eight boxes of girl scout cookies, a bag of cheese puffs," Detective Sgt. Jeff Marker of the Michigan State Police told ABC News.

I am just prepping a survival curriculum for a group of teen GS for next weekend. This story will make a nice addition to the discussion

"So..you calling me a liar?"

Nope, just reiterating that whitetails are more dangerous than wolves. If I knew wolves were active in an area, it would not alter my behavior in the least, except possibly to carry a camera, or a gun and wolf tag if legal.

Scaring people about wolf attacks makes no sense.

Predation on four legged critters, however, is another matter. I certainly do not support reintroduction.

I think so

It’s why I don’t eat raw sugar, drink sugar sodas and don’t eat much bread and almost never touch white, because it’s not bread.

Also prefer non homogenized milk. Its binds the fats and protein to each other and confuses the pancreas.

I also eat very little white rice but, I love Top Ramen.

Girl scout cookies are a service to those girls and they learn self confidence, while I get to eat something I’ll only eat once a year...desert, because I almost never have desert.
