This so called father needs to step down from his job and raise their kid. The kid is obviously going through some mental illness and instead of just saying acceptance then maybe he needs to help the poor child.

That is now illegal in California—it is against the law for counselors to counsel children on being one’s own gender. It is perfectly fine to counsel them to be the gender they are not, however.
The man isn’t wearing the pants in that family. He’s a spineless wuss.
