A HIGH-profile SBS presenter has come under fire for a vicious public attack on Australian Diggers in which he implied that Anzacs were rapists and terrorists.
SBS soccer reporter Scott McIntyres rant on social media late on Anzac Day has been drawn outrage from Australian leaders, including Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull who labelled his comments despicable.
Difficult to think of more offensive or inappropriate comments, Mr Turnbull tweeted.
Despicable remarks which deserve to be condemned.

Yes, but with a TV service that tends to be a bit like your PBS on top of it.
SBS was created back in the 1970’s as a new government-public broadcaster to serve ethnic minority audiences.
The Liberal-National coalition (the “conservatives” of Australia) was in power with the recently deceased Malcolm Fraser as PM.
So I suppose they run a lot of britcoms and Doc Martin reruns like PBS does?
Those tend to be on the ABC which is our other ‘public broadcaster’ (yes, we have two). SBS tends to run a lot of documentary type programs - some of which are very good, some of which are truly awful, and a lot of which are very left wing.
SBS also does quite a lot of foreign language broadcasting - news from non-English speaking countries, as well as some entertainment programs.
On the 100th anniversary of the landings, too. What a loser. He got what he deserved.

I loved “The Year of Living Dangerously”! I thought maybe I was the only person alive who had seen it! LOL!
Time to watch it again.
Another good one is “Empire of the Sun” with Christian Bale. About the Japanese takeover of Shanghai. I know it has nothing to do with this subject, [nor does it have Mel Gibson in it], except that it was part of the start of the Japanese aggression.
