Okay, everybody, paying ransom to terrorists sucks. I completely agree.

But how about answering the question we ask leftists all the time: what clause of the U.S. Constitution allows the Federal government to prohibit this??

And if you cite the war powers clause you are going to have to show me a declaration of war, and evidence that we are actually fighting a war.
