Actually, mine and the author’s interest had nothing to do with the tactless behavior of the parents concerning their marriage. No doubt Renner should not have impregnated this woman, and she should not have agreed to marry anyone who demanded a prenup. The issue for me here has to do with this father’s relationship with the daughter, and his willingness to speak on the subject. I suspect, or hope anyway, that plenty of divorced guys (I am not, btw) will read this article and reevaluate their own performance as fathers. That is all.

Had I known that Renner and the ex-wife settled all their disputes several weeks ago, I would not have posted.

I thought the disputes were still active, still being litigated, and that Renner was using the interview to influence any future jury pool.

If Renner is a good guy and a good father, that's good news.
