Parent co. to print gay wedding invites after franchisee refuses
Atlanta Journal-Constitution ^ | 4/27/15 | David Markiewicz

The young couple wanted really special invitations made up for their wedding, something that looked like a train ticket to fit with the railroad theme of their big day. So bride-to-be Paige Beckwith turned to a Suwanee printer who’d been recommended to her.

But the printer rejected the job because of his religious beliefs, the parent company of the printing business said Monday.

Beckwith is gay.

However, a company spokesman at AlphaGraphics confirmed Beckwith’s story.

The company also released a statement: “We do not condone discrimination of any kind, and wish to make clear that customers of any race, religion, nationality, ethnicity or sexual orientation are welcome at our franchisees’ locations nationwide. We also wish to apologize to the customers who were impacted by the actions of this franchisee, and hope that our response conveys the level of commitment we feel toward upholding our company’s standards of inclusion, and that all members of the Suwanee community continue to feel welcome at AlphaGraphics.”

In addition, the company offered to do the invitations at no cost to the couple.

Gay marriage is still illegal in Georgia, but evidently that is beside the point. The Christian printer is just MEAN, MEAN, MEAN . . . same as all the Christians, who should be killed or something.

Depending on the wording, and the photo’s I’d do it. They might not like the price.

The question is how are they going to punish the rest of us, since we don’t own businesses.

The real question is this: will they pull the franchise for the owners that refused to print the invites?

Beckwith is gay.

No.

Beckwith is a homosexual pervert. Beckwith is planning a celebration of perversity ... and is horrified that someone disapproves of her wallowing in sin.

Waaah.

The punchline: “We’ve already established that. Now we’re haggling over the price.”

I think you know the joke that belongs to.

Point is, if you would do a gay wedding if the price is right, then you’ve compromised.

These mixed-up sexual deviants are being used by the devil, who hates Christianity and wants to persecute Christians all he can. Now he’s even blocking other Christians who try to help them.

So, with homosexual “marriage” being illegal in Georgia and the printing company going ahead with printing for this illegal activity, are they now condoning printing services for ALL illegal activity?

...another heinous hate crime

Indeed. And it's good to have priorities.

Rape of women, brutal torture and death to women AND gays, all in the Middle East and all due to Sharia Law adherents, that's ok. After all they are Muslims in another culture, who are we to judge!

But a couple of homosexuals are refused invitations to their "wedding"? Why, that's a crime worthy of another Nuremberg! The level of inhumanity on display in such acts is almost too great to bear! Oh the humanity! Oh sweet Lady Justice, why do remain so blind?! The persecuted cry out from their online registries!

er, you mean like Hitler did to the Jews - exterminate them. Because of their belief in the Bible? You call them mean? Your comments would be laughable if they weren’t so pathetic and hypocritical.

You have provided the most succinct way of explaining this circumstance I have yet encountered. Every time I see someone suggesting some sort of compromise that included them doing whatever the homosexuals demanded, I try to get across to them that this is a surrender.

Your explanation is perfect.

Don’t we all compromise many times per day?

I’m all for idealism, but business is business too. Maybe start a Gay Divorce service as a sideline. Have some real laughs.

A friend of mine ran a towing company. Every few months he’d go to a local joint called Zippers(rear entry only) and tow illegally parked cars.

He said it was hilarious to see all guys come in the next day. Some were scared $hitless to be found out, others were flaming and flamboyant. It was quite a show.

You know sometimes I skim and am very capable of missing the sarcasm. I get so fired up over stuff today I guess I jumped the gun. Will back track and read more thoroughly.
