Major League Baseball implemented new gate security procedures this season. Going to the ballgame is now like going to the airport. No thanks, I’ll stay home.
It was bad enough a few years ago when we went with our young son to Camden Yards. Actually, 10 years ago going to Ravens’ game there. Checking through purses, God forbid don’t bring any bags, confiscating cameras (at the Raven game), etc.
We are such weinies, even accepting this.
But then, in this generation of big-box private stores that treat everyone like criminals (yes, I mean Costco, BJs), why wouldn’t the sheep accept this treatment?
