I wouldn’t know. I’ve never met the guy. He was willing to take a huge hit to say he was conservate, so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he leans conservative on some issues and that he feels strongly about it.
If, say, he were to state he was supporting Cruz for president, I wouldn’t be upset about it. How many guys supporting Cruz have drinking problems? How many have cheated on their spouse? Jenner’s warts are on his face for all to see. So what?
Maybe, just maybe, you can believe in individual liberty and the Constitution and still make ridiculously bad decisions in your personal life.
If Barack Obama or Hillary said they were conservative, I guess some FReepers would cheer and say we should support them now.
