I knew one of them for about ten years before he came “out.” He used to date women too. I didn’t know.
He was a neighbor. He invited me to his church. I attended it for about 10 years before I moved to another town.
His father is a retired Baptist minister that tells him he’s going to hell if he doesn’t change. His family doesn’t approve of his lifestyle but hasn’t abandoned him. I won’t either. He is still a friend and I hope he repents. I don’t see him much anymore because I live in another city.
This guy certainly isn’t politically liberal. He is very conservative politically.
I have a few liberal friends too. I am capable of having a good relationship even if we disagree. A few have even come more to my way of thinking. They see there is another story from what they’re fed by the liberal media all day long.
