On Facebook, Twin Cities organizers called on people who stand for social, economic and racial justice to peacefully rally with them.
“It’s imperative to understand when we lose a life to police, it affects all of us,” organizer Mica Grimm said. “Police are out to protect every single citizen, not just certain ones.”
This isn’t the first time this group has rallied together.
“Black Lives Matter” is the same organization that demonstrated inside Mall of America on Dec. 20, 2014 to protest the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson and Eric Garner in New York.
The protesters briefly shut down the mall on one of its busiest shopping days of the year.
Earlier in December, “Black Lives Matter” caused a closure of Interstate 35W just outside of downtown Minneapolis. Demonstrators marched up the interstate to Minneapolis City Hall.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that Gray had a lengthy criminal history and even had a two-year stint in prison. According to The Post, his charges were primarily for selling heroin and marijuana. However, only a few of the counts he was charged with resulted in convictions.

These marchers will have some credibility when all lives matter.
When will the Black lives of those innocently killed in drive-bys matter?
Same night the usual protestors in Ferguson were out and several hours before the two officers were shot, Marcus Johnson, 6 and a kindergarten student, was murdered in a drive-by. Killer still not caught. This blog about an officer that was there is poignant and very sad.
Black Lives Matter crowd, the lives only matter of a select few. They should be marching for the Marcus Johnson’s of the Country.

Thank Gawd for internet shopping. My co-workers are MERCILESS at teasing me about packages that show up all week long, but it’s a win/win as far as I’m concerned.
