All of this occurred after Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake explained the “delicate balancing act” of giving rioters “space to destroy.”
It begins to make some sort of twisted sense once one realizes that Mayor Rawlings-Blake is part President Barack Obama’s plan to federalize local police departments, created in the aftermath of the protests, riots and looting that occurred in Ferguson, Mo.
Mayor Rawlings-Blake sits on Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, a White House panel focused on finding ways for the federal government to give grants and funding to local police departments around the country — with strings attached, of course.
