I choose to side with his mom when she said...”All of this for ‘just him” ..it’s wrong!
I read somewhere that the two prisoners were in separate compartments in the vehicle, so Prisoner John Doe would not have access to Gray.
If I would have been there and seen that, I would have stood with them.
Can’t have a mob in control of the streets. Can’t have people from wherever throwing rocks at police and burning businesses.
That’s just madness.
And I’ve spent a crummy 8 hours in jail before when I was younger and acting like a jerk. Wasn’t fun. But there is no reason to be angry at police and subject police to this type of nonsense, this is the job they do, and it’s a hard one, and civilization needs them.
No, the other prisoner does not want the fame because he fears for his life if his name gets out.
Then he's probably dead meat. Somebody in the Mayor's office will rat him out.
Will we ever know the truth? Looks like someone doesn’t want us to.
So you believe another “thug” riding in the van? Who is he? Race? Record? Any deals made? Was this guy buckled in or was he flipping around, too? Why did the van make these other stops? Autopsy has been done yet we know nothing about how Gray died. Any drugs in his system? What was he being charged with? Why was he limp when put into the van? Why not tell the public the cops’ version of what happened?
The biggest mistake they are making is not releasing information.
That looks like a man of the cloth moving in front of them. I wonder if this is a church doing this.
I would also love to know what the cops thought about this. I bet they were not expecting this either.
....”The biggest mistake they are making is not releasing information”....
No they need to ‘not’ release information because they know once they reveal the truth the people will do the same they did in Ferguson....remember...they “burned it down”.
So they have to have the time to position all these police officers they’ve brought in and that all know the plan to address the emotional riots that will be forthcoming if they release it too soon.
I’m sure the police were co-operating.
has found no evidence that his fatal injuries were caused during the videotaped arrest and interaction with police officers
Sure, throw all six of the involved officers in jail and bring them to court. Let them stand together or finger the one or more responsible. Someone died as a result of their actions or inactions. Why treat them any different than they and prosecutors treat the common public?
There certainly are a lot of questions in this case....
Okay, your the prosecutor, I’m the jury.
Make your case.
Show me who did it, how they did it, when they did it, where they did it and why they did it.
Go.
Not playing. Simple fact is that he was in police custody, they already admitted they did not properly place/protect him in the vehicle, they failed to check on him, and took 45 minute “nickel tour” with at least one stop. They killed him. I’m sure a good prosecutor will get a conviction, even if guilty plea for negligent. Especially if evidence that this was not the first time they pulled this behavior and by media reports it wasn’t. Defend the cops all you want but please stop defending bad cops. If any of the six are not bad cops, they’ll speak up and turn in the ones who are. If not, let them all enjoy jail. There has to be zero tolerance for police misbehavior. Someone died and sorry is not enough.
I don’t buy this at all. I believe he was given a “Nickel Ride” and it killed him. I’m sure they just meant to rough him up a bit, and didn’t mean to kill him, but here we are.
I’m not defending anyone.
I do not have enough information to make a defense or an accusation.
But I see you wanting them thrown in jail and tried, so I asked you to present your evidence, Mr. Prosecutor, and this is what you presented to the jury-
“Simple fact is that he was in police custody, they already admitted they did not properly place/protect him in the vehicle, they failed to check on him, and took 45 minute nickel tour with at least one stop. They killed him.”
Not Guilty.
Better luck next time.
