OK now that I have thrown up in my mouth more than a little let me enlighten FR as to Johnny sack o shite Isakson. He is a POS RINO who is kept in power by the Dunwoody business crowd here in Atlanta. He would be a lot more comfy in the Democrat party as he votes for and and co-sponsors every progressive Libtard piece of legislation that comes down the pike. His Conservative rating is about 53% and that’s being kind. WE are all praying that we can primary his worthless azz out next year. I have not voted for him in the last two election cycles. I will never vote for him for any reason.

Conservative Review gives Sen. Isakson (R-GA) a Liberty Score of 42% and a grade of F. That ranks just under John McCain and Lindsey Graham at 45% and 49%, respectively. For comparison, Sen. Ted Cruz has a score of 96% and a grade of A.

He's also a man who is held in highest regard by both Republicans and most Democrats in his home state.

Well, BOTH those Republicans might like this unprincipled leech on the public purse, but Johnny's real fans, like the senator himself, are really Democrats.

The writer did this piece tongue in cheek or after six martinis. There is no other explanation.

Isakson is scum.

Towery is Isakson's fellow RINO who mysteriously quit elective office (he was my rep, briefly) but can't seem to leave politics alone.

I don't trust either one as far as I can kick em up a chimney.

Isakson is meh.

Derrick Grayson is opposing him in the primary. He got only a poor 1% amongst the crowded field for the open seat last year.

Re: “[Johnny Isakson is] also a man who is held in highest regard by both Republicans and most Democrats in his home state.”

Stopped reading right there.

First of all, “most Democrats” in Georgia are Black or Hispanic. Maybe a few “Conservative” white boy Democrats are still hiding out someplace in the state.

Second, the ONLY time a Democrat holds a Republican in “highest regard” is when the Republican consistently attacks Conservatives and frequently votes for Democrat policies.
