What a travesty. I fully expect 40% of baltimore’s finest to immediately resign. Why would you put up with this maddness. Freddie had 4 outstanding warrants after 20 convictions of other crimes.He was worse that a thug. He was a criminal thug with warrants outstanding for his arrest!! They see him on the street ,they arrest him!! That is what a warrant for arrest is. Discussions of “probable cause “ are silly.

What is your source for the claim that the police had an arrest warrant (much less four outstanding warrants). Certainly not his arrest report, which says nothing about any warrant.

Freddie was thrashing around to beat himself up and ran into a bolt that snapped his spine. That’s it — That’s all. Free the cops now!! We need millions in the streets!!In every city!!

What evidence is there that he was thrashing around to beat himself up? Speculation is not evidence.

Freddie was thrashing about the van, trying to get the driver to stop. THIS IS CORROBORATED BY HIS FELLOW PASSENGER. Hands tied, feet bound, he slipped off the bench and landed on his head hitting the bolt on the door and snapped his vertebrate.

End of story. Scoot yourself off a chair with your hands and feet tied. On second thought, don't try it.

My evidence would be the affadavit ( widely reported) that supported that assertions signed under penalty of purjury by the arrested fellow in the front area of the paddy wagon. He said , in effect, that it sounded like he was trying to injure himself.

I heard it on TV but I can not find the source on the warrants, so I may be wrong on that . He had 18 arrests. He was to stand trial on possession this week! It is reported that the police report says the knife was “spring loaded” and one hand action knife. Is that not a “switch blade” illegal under most state laws?
If an officer yells “halt” and you run ,is that not evading capture and probable cause for pursuit?
In my opinion, this is a travesty to charge these officers.
But if it is a fact that he had spinal surgery 10 days earlier on top of “several” surgeries on his spine, this thing is over. It will never go to trial.
