There are foundations and foundations.
Private foundations derive their money from a family, an individual, or a corporation.
A grantmaking public charity (sometimes referred to as a “public foundation”) derives its support from diverse sources, which may include foundations, individuals, and government agencies.

Basically, a private foundation (e.g., Bill and Melinda Gates) has a stable family or corporate base of income. The clinton “Foundation”, however has no pool of money of its own. It must scrounge up monies from various sources every year—the U.S. government, State governments, foreign governments, and who knows where else (drug lords? mafia? ???).
Private foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates, Ford Foundation, etc. have done a lot of good (mainly), and we know where their money comes from.
The clinton “Foundation”, however, needs a lot of scrutiny, since it seems to be doing dirty deals with unsavory funders. Moreover, it has a pro-muslim, anti-Christian, liberal-interventionist New World Order agenda, and pushes “climate change”, “gay rights”, and other noxious agendas. Phooey!!!!
I question just how much good the Gates and Ford Foundation’s have really done. Both are Left-Wing Socialist organizations.
