There’s a big legal leap being made by Marilyn Mosby all the way to intentional killing. Charging the driver of the transport van with murder is a considerable leap based on currently available information.
State Attorney Marilyn Mosby is playing a dangerous game of racially motivated political and legal theatrics.

You should calm down. The guy could run before the cops got him into custody. He died of complications from three broken neck vertebrae, which he most likely got while in custody. He probably didn’t break his own neck. The cops, in some way, are most likely responsible for this. If not, it will come out in the grand jury or trial.
I don’t see any BS in the charges at all, and I wouldn’t bet on all the charges will be beaten.
Saw a interview today of a police officer in a police van and the person doing the interview asked what the metal partition is for.
The police officer said that the metal partition is only to separate the male prisoners from the female prisoners.
There is no partition between the male prisoners, only cuffs , feet shackles, and seat belts.
I do believe that the orders to charge these police officers for State’s Attorney Mosby were given straight from the top, the AG.
I don’t see why it’s so hard to comprehend that if you are laying on the metal floor of a van, legs tied and hands tied behind back with head pointed towards door that if the driver hits the gas from a standing stop that you couldn’t possibly smack into the door head first and snap your neck vertebrate. The neck is a weak point on the body. Could’ve happened this way. You’ve got all the weight of your body below your neck and that adds to the force with which you would hit your head. What’s the weakest point between your head and the rest of your body? Thank you.

P.S. There are many mind (and body) numbing drugs which can lead people to injure themselves simply because they have no pain response and thus no tolerance that limits them from doing so.. PCP, flakka, bath salts comes to mind but Freddie allegedly tested positive for heroin.
Not due to acceleration. Have driven numerous medium to large size vans with delicate cargo. They do not have the acceleration capabilities to slide a person across the floor with much force. Now braking, yes. That could happen. But it would be a front wall.

Many times the FOP is the only entity that will stand up for the cops. Police chiefs tend to be political animals whose main concern is to keep the electorate happy. Sad, but true.

I am wondering why any man or woman would be a cop in a large city. Especially a Democrat lead black majority city.
