He could have been standing up, and when they suddenly accelerated, he could have fallen backwards with sufficient force to hit his head on that bolt and break his neck, but it would be a fluke circumstance.

I posted the other evening that I think Freddie's spine/neck was injured, possibly broken, even before he was put into the van....from causes as yet unknown.....and the six cops and/or the ride on the way to be booked were not responsible.
Look closely at the video. His limp frame was like that of a rag doll and he was artificially being propped up to look like he was both ambulent and able to stand or climb into the van on his own.
But, so far, I guess I'm the only one on FR to hold this opinion.
