I agree with that, but that part doesn’t matter for the most part. If he weren’t buckled in, it was reckless endangerment that resulted in a death.
You may be right. I don’t understand all the legal particulars and I really haven’t had much time to follow the case. I just don’t believe there was any intent to kill the man.
That would be negligence and the family would be getting a check in the mail— not arrested six cops, one of whom for secondary murder defined as “intent” to cause harm.
