Cute. And for the record I am not affiliated with anyone. As I have noted, I have contributed significantly to Cruz but still have reservations and questions—amnesty and H1B. Anyway, don’t you think repeating the same talking points and links over and over and over again is a bit tiring? Maybe saying something new and original is in order.
I work to be current. I do use older articles to clarify things that often are omitted or conflicting, as well as to put things into context and spark debate.
Please direct me to your posted articles; I'm always willing to learn.
You are not the only one Reno. I started pointing this out when she takes a grip to someone, anyone, the MO is the same. She challenges you to prove it knowing you don’t have the time to because she knows it is so pervasive.
If you want a real inside look, if you can spend the time, she did exactly the same thing with Rick Perry in the last go round until the pressure finally caused him to forget his talking points and his meltdown ensued.
She then disappeared for a while. Will the same happen here? I predict it is likely because Walker has has his transformations on issues like immigration, abortion, and most importantly the Constitution.
What is most obvious to me is that she will make a post and then answer herself with a whole litany of pre-formatted html responses knowing full well that it looks like other people are responding before opening the thread. It takes a lot of time for just anyone to peck out the code in the long dissertations she posts as answers and I wager her posts and self responses are not impulsive but purposely arranged astroturf.
But, that is my opinion and I am entitled to it just as she is hers. We just have to be discernible enough to recognize it for what it is.
Rubio lied to my face from his heart when he was running against Charlie Crist. His lie was exposed with the Gang of 8.
For now, I support Cruz because he needs no talking points but I am guarded because of Rubio. He says what he means and means what he says to date. Doesn’t waiver. On the H1B issue I too have reservations but that offer was made in the throws of the Gang of 8 debate in the Senate and he knew that amendment would kill it and also that it did not have a snowballs chance in hell of getting enacted.
All must remember, he is a seasoned litigant before the USSC and in such knows how to take an issue and use it to strategize an argument. Because of his not addressing the issue right now, he has a reason and a time for it that will become all too clear when he does.
Here are some points directly from the Cruz website. Although it does not mention H1B specifically, here is how he addresses immigration as a whole.
Joined Texas and 25 other states in a lawsuit to stop President Obamas illegal executive amnesty.
Authored legislation to triple the size of the U.S. Border Patrol.
Authored legislation to streamline and simplify our legal immigration system by consolidating segmented visas, creating real and transparent caps, eliminating the diversity visa lottery, and treating all immigrants equally by eliminating the per-country caps.
Urged the strictest enforcement of laws punishing those with prior felony convictions who entered the country illegally in a U.S. Supreme Court Brief in Lopez v. Gonzales.
A preacher says the same thing over a gain...Repent and be baptized! If you believe in something that is true...you repeat it! Even alinskyites know of the principle of the “BIG LIE!”(repeating a lie over and over again so that folks start to think of it as true!)
