The words “animals” and “thugs” are often used as code — as a dog whistle in place of arguably the most offensive word in American English. Even Questlove pointed this out on Twitter.

It would seem that this is a simple matter of clearing this up and just using the correct word in the future.

The push to equate any derogatory term which has no racial context or intent to the word "n!gger" is just an attempt to make it impossible to criticize anointed classes at all. Queerlove, Questlove, ?love or whatever the hell he calls himself this weekend sees everything through the prism of race, and wants to assume that conservatives do, to. But this savage behavior has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with the fact that the rioters are ... savages.
