“Would you vote for a candidate whom you knew or believed to be untrustworthy, if that candidate promised to raise the minimum wage, forgive student loans, and raise taxes on the EEEEEEEEVIL rich?”
The answer to THAT poll question is the one that scares the bejeezus out of me.
But think about it. If your choice is between a Republican and a candidate who you knew would do those three things, why would you vote for the Republican? I have student loans. I’d love for them to be forgiven. Oh, I’d rather have liberty and be free of burdensome regulations, but there isn’t a party who stands for liberty and small government, just one who stands for less free stuff.
You see what I’m saying?
