Good for Michigan voters. Say no to higher taxes...let the legislature cut spending on the fat.

I’m sure there is plenty of fat to cut in the budget.

This election for Prop 1 was a F’n waste of taxpayer money on something that was dead on arrival in the first place.

Michigan government is so corrupt. The road builders and heavy load trucking companies have had the politicians in their back pockets since day one. The State budget for roads is 3.3 billion dollars. I’ve seen new roads fall apart in less than a year. Poor construction, heavy truck loads. It’s criminal.

This is a low voter turnout. There are over seven million voters here in Michigan. It is clear that all the hype about people wanting the roads fix was just that.

I too agree with the other poster above that a clean bill is what I will vote for nothing else. I am tired of being lied too. These were so called Republicans who put this forward. Around 40% for things other than roads attached to this. What a joke.

Last year one of the new road that was put in was so badly made my brother and I stopped the car to see if we had something hung up under it. Turned out to be the roughness of the new road. Wonder how long before this road needs to be replaced again.

This just goes to show the Republicans how out of touch they were last fall. These guys just do not get it, we are feed up with this crap of adding extras to a bill.
