Among them is Brandon Kiel, 36, who has worked as deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice -- which is led by Harris, also a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. Kiel was arrested on suspicion of misusing his government ID.

Hard to imagine why these people would be involved in something like this. They should know that impersonating a LEO is a serious offence.

I also can’t believe that actual Masons would be involved in something like this.

I know a number of Masons and they are all very normal law abiding persons of excellent character.
