O.M.G.! Gag me!
Lindsey, dont waste your time or ours.
He keeps getting elected because he has the Senate incumbent propaganda machine. He avoids town hall meetings in SC, and the "town hall" conference calls are carefully scripted and controlled as to who is permitted to ask questions. Also, there were no NAME RECOGNITION opposition candidates with appeal to the masses.
Does this mean he’s going to resign his senate seat? Sadly, no. I think he’ll keep that as insurance, because he’s got a snowball’s chance of winning the presidency.
Man, it sure would be nice if the gay mafia finally out Mr. Graham.
I don’t think he generates much support in S.C. as a Presidential candidate.
“In the race to siphon off votes from Cruz and Walker in South Carolina to help Señor Bush.”
I remember hearing he was going to enter to thwart Rand Paul’s chances.
How, exactly do they do that? Are certain conservative votes an 'entitlement' for the GOP-E?
You act like the GOP-E is owed those votes for some reason.
Welcome to FR. I see you are very new here.

I think Goober is running not to be president, but trying to present his “credentials” on defense policy. He’s angling to be the next Defense Secretary regardless of which party wins the presidency next year.
Hey, Johnny,
We’ve conversed before
No, the GOP-E are not entitled to any votes, but they will get them from people who may consider themselves conservative but are unaware that Linda Grahamnesty is not conservative.
She hasn’t got a chance.
We’ll know it doesn’t mean anything and IIRC Dems can crossover in that election. SC is going GOP no matter what. NC, IN and NE are going GOP in 2016. We need to capture the Midwest and so far Walker’s message resonates with middle-class white voters. That could mean a win in MI, OH, WI and toss in FL and the Dems will have a hard time winning in 2016.
We’re defending a lot of seats, but Dems are weak and many of those seats are in strong GOP areas or have GOP governors or GOP legislators or all three. It’s not a good race for Dems.
Dead on arrival.
Graham is a stalking horse coming to the rescue of GOPe. As a “hometown” candidate, his numbers will keep an actual conservative from breaking through in the first real conservative primary in SC. He’s running interference for the Jebster.
The GOPe master plan for a brokered convention and a coronation of Jeb Bush continues on-track.
No, the GOP-E is counting on Graham to stifle Cruz, Walker, and Paul in the state with the same crooked methods he used to get himself re-elected last go around.
Good point.
