“A New Jersey family...”

This is a clear violation of this family’s God-given rights. It’s wrong. No doubt about it. But it brings up something I’ve been wondering about. There are states that allow people to be more free than others. New Jersey is obviously not one of them. I understand why people stay in their state, but people have died for freedom. We applaud immigrants who risk everything to come to America for freedom. Couldn’t people move across a state line for freedom?

It’s not just a little thing like having a 15 round mag vs a 30 round mag. Some states really want to do medical experiments on your kids, there are states who don’t, and you can move.

Such individuals belong in Bellevue or St. Elizabeth’s.

As far as homeschooling is concerned, NJ doesn’t have any restrictions whatsoever although it’s not from lack of trying by some legislators. The legislature isn’t interested in regulating it.

Actually, here in New Jersey, people are more free to homeschool than most (if not all) other states. We're not required to report to anyone. We're free to succeed or fail entirely on our own. And, based on my observations, most are succeeding. The community is very well-organized here with many opportunities for the students.

The states around us, such as PA, DE, and NY, have tough restrictions... but not NJ.

The DCPP intruder stepped out of bounds. It seems later she tried to play it off as if the family invited her in. I hope their call to the police is considered evidence that their rights were violated and they were forced to let her in.
