Yep. It would be one thing if the entire country rallied around Geller after the Texas attack, and immediately planned more events like hers.
But no such thing happened. Geller was left twisting in the wind.
So are the country club administrators cowards? Suppose a cop gets a call. A number of heavily armed terrorists are reported in a building, and are preparing an ambush. So the cop calls for backup. No backup arrives. So the cop decides not to enter the building. Is the cop a coward?

Well you didn't say "SUCCESSFUL defense" In fact, you placed the word "defense" in parentheses. Willingness to support free speech as it was intended by the Constitution and successfully resisting an attack on country club property could very well increase membership and positive reputation in many ways which may not be so obvious from the current vantage point. It could be a game-changer if enough organizations followed suit. This is a one-sided argument. I believe this (the decision the CC made)is really more a demonstration of foregone acceptance of dhimmitude and the complete loss of American values. And nothing to do with sound business decision-making.

I did not know that “Texas Cowboy” chap, but I wonder if he would see an opportunity for jihad to be yeehawed without even having to risk breaking a single solitary law. There is no wrong, no evil in guarding an event in a SYG state. Even if it scares away the rag heads and not a shot is fired in anger, it achieved a victory.
