When Attorney General Eric Holder’s reign at the Justice Department ended earlier this month, readers of National Review probably hoped it would mean the end of stories about Holder’s seemingly inexhaustible misbehavior and legal shenanigans. But apparently he could not leave without one last abuse of taxpayer funds.
Holder is the only attorney general in history to be held in contempt of Congress. But that didn’t stop the Justice Department from releasing a nine-minute paean to him, which paints him as a cross between Martin Luther King Jr. and Mother Theresa.
It’s entitled “Attorney General Eric Holder: The People’s Lawyer.” We’re not kidding about the MLK Jr. comparison. The video is full of images — like this one, which has him standing in MLK’s shadow — obviously intended to claim that Holder is a modern-day Martin Luther King:

He must be runnin’ for somethin’. His life if he knows too much about the wrong things.
I think the job has killed Holder’s health and is not long for this world , it’s the only reason he gave up

I have faith in you to create a photoshop pix with split pea soup - ala Linda Blair in “The Exorcist” movie - gushing out of Holder’s nostrils. You’ve never disappointed us.

The only video DOJ should be providing is of Eric “The Red” Holder being frog marched off to prison.
