Well, here in Northern Illinois we have water up the wazoo. It’s been raining since Friday, and the ground is saturated. All the lawns are green, green, green. Flowers are blooming. Temps in the mid-60s today.
Same here in North Texas. We have been in a multi-year drought. This spring, we have received an abundance of rain. Even with the severe weather that has accompanied the rain, we are are thankful for each and every drop. The trees are greener than they have been in years and lake levels are higher than they have been in years.
I am in agreement with several posters, to heck with that pesky minnow. The farmland and people’s livelihoods are much more important than a stupid fish.
