Your argument isn’t with me. It’s with the American people. They’re not going to allow Social Security to be cut, on the grounds we don’t have enough money, when our leaders seem to be able to find money for foreign nation-building and occupying and invading. I don’t like Huckabee, but I’m sure his polls show that even GOP voters aren’t for cutting Social Security.
So if we stopped government spending on everything but SS and Medicare, do you think that would keep SS and Medicare solvent?
