The people who promote the Nordic countries as “models” conveniently ignore the fact that they are very homogeneous (or were in the past) and have a very strong work ethic. This has a lot to do with making that model viable. We have no such thing in the country, and less so every day. Of course, I'm sure these people realize it. And the ignorant, low information voters who support them have no clue.
