To: Eric Pode of Croydon

It was plainly stated on recent TV by a number of officials from previous administrations involved in past trade negotiations that the need for secrecy outweighs the public need to know. Such negotiations have always been confidential.

I can accept that especially knowing that the public could not understand the various points at various stages of ongoing negotiations.
