Russian troops key in decisive Ukraine battles, says Boris Nemtsov report

At least 220 Russian soldiers have died fighting in Ukraine despite the Kremlin’s denial of sending troops there, according to a new report started by the murdered Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov.

“The evidence provided by sources with whom Nemtsov began his work allows us to assert that all the key military successes of the separatists were secured by units of the Russian Army,” said Ilya Yashin, one of the report’s authors.

Mr Nemtsov, 55, was shot dead on a bridge near the Kremlin as he walked home with his girlfriend in February. Two alleged hitmen have been charged with his assassination but the person who ordered the murder has not been identified.

At the time of his death the former deputy prime minister was researching the role of Russian servicemen in the war in Donbas, or eastern Ukraine.

More evidence there never was a "civil war" in Eastern Ukraine. It's simply one party fascist state Russia invading a neighboring state. Again.

220 in just a few months and the only way Moscow could take defended positions was by massive artillery strikes.

OT:

Multiple reports that Kiev has launched a large offensive in several areas of the front-lines after dark tonight.
Large battles being reported at Shirokino, Gorlovka, Dokuchaevsk.

This began shortly after Kerry left Russia.

Too many times this has happened for it to be any coincidence.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Russia has no right to be in Ukraine, it’s a pity so many Russian and Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives over this war by Russia, lots of people including kids killed by landmines, look it up, something like 40+ children.

In a sad way I think these mercenaries are actually paid with the money stolen from Ukraine. Yanukovich’s clan stole a mind boggling ~$70B during his reign. Now Yanukovich is in Russia at Putin’s mercy and in a rather suspicious circumstances his son died this year by supposedly a car accident driving on an iced lake and falling through. I believe Putin is making Yanukovich’s criminal network to pay the expenses and he killed Yanukovich’s son to encourage the clan to cooperate.

Whatever. Too bad he didn't have one of those Rooskie dash-cams, so that we could see what the Lake Baikal winter fish look like.

The United States should not be involved in this mess.

Are you opposing even selling Javelins to Ukraine?

Certainly not. This whole disfunctional mess got started over a trade dispute, if memory serves.

Although, it's a good question whether young Viktor Viktorovych would have survived, had he been driving such a Scheißbox as the Javelin.

Heh. Your reply was somewhat confusing, but I go by “certainly not”. Guys knowing about weapons might have better understanding, but in mine there are those countries that produce anti tank weapons Ukraine needs - “USA, Sweden, India, Russia, Israel”.

Taking a list from who could possibly sell them to Ukraine:

India - not going to happen. they don’t take moral stand and are commie leaning
Israel - they have threatened Russia with selling weapons to Ukraine, but I think in the end they won’t
Sweden - like Israel they are a small country and afraid of Russian retribution. I think right now it is very unlikely they will sell their Bill missiles to Ukraine.

USA - Russia might be pissed, but American people are in favor of it. So far both Congress & Senate want and White House blocks. Could go either way.

Ah. You must be thinking of this Javelin:

Suppose the Rooskies sold their S300 model to Cuber?

Why do you want to fight the Rooskies when there are so many Mooselimbs in need of killing?

Nonsense.

Is the Nemtsov org a “Ukie troll” too? You don’t like what they say so you change the subject. What part of this is not clear: “The evidence provided by sources with whom Nemtsov began his work allows us to assert that all the key military successes of the separatists were secured by units of the Russian Army,” said Ilya Yashin, one of the report’s authors.”

This is Russian mass murder and unlawful war on Ukraine. Putin is busy creating a pretext to continue his mass murder on Ukraine and you are dutifully spreading this KGB psywar manure instead of gathering the facts for yourself.

The fact is the last “kiev offensive” was in August. Since then the fighting has been in the other direction only as Putin violates every agreement Russia or his Ukrainian proxies sign by continuing his invasion of Ukraine with the farmers & miners of Siberia. Often armed with the latest made only in Russia tanks, rocket artillery and AA systems.

Really, it shouldn’t be hard for a conservative to understand this. Try harder, FRiend, I know you can do it.

Good question. How many Russians have killed Americans in recent history as opposed to Muslims?

Ukriane wanted to be part of the EU. Let the EU come to their defense.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Putin is sending some bills to Yanuk. It’s documented that the Russians are stealing Ukrainian coal and selling it back to them. Chekists love inside jokes like this.

If one fights the Russian army and renegades, they are fighting Mooselimbs.

The Russian Army has whole Muslim Battalions.

Where have you all been?
