I guess all those Greek plays were made up.
The same for Anthony and Cleopatra!
Economics and family connections have always played a role in marriage.
And it still does to this day.
Romeo and Juliet would be a boring without the passion...
A modern remake of Cleopatra would have Marc Anthony placing an asp in Cleo’s bed himself and then prancing off with Julius Caesar. I’m surprised they haven’t done one like that yet.
