I don’t think the operator’s homosexuality has anything to do with his incompetence other than contributing towards it vis a vis apparently filling some kind of employment quota.
He clearly was hired because he was/is “gay” and for no other reason. How else can one explain how a cashier from Target got to be an engineer for a passenger train so quickly? He was clearly in over his head. But the same stupidity would have reigned supreme had he been some “African American” quota hire with the same level of (non) experience.
It wasn’t his homosexual tendencies that proved so deadly here it was simply his inexperience and ignorance.
Even this morning tons here were still clinging to the hope, the certainty (as they do with EVERY tragedy), that it was a Moslem conspiracy.
Now since some blog has hit on this engineer (is he really the only one in the cab?) being homo, we’re hearing less about the Moslem connection and that he had to do it deliberately as a homo “activist”.
Pray what will be the next theory for this?
Surely you must realize this is still par for the course on FR. Lots of people want so badly for it to be some left-sided conspiracy. Perfect mirror of the left-wing sites squawking about how it has to be Repub/conserv/white/hetero/Christian guys deliberately doing evil.
