I’ve been predicting for months that at the last minute, when Clinton either is gasping for air and/or leaves the race, Michelle will step forward to save her party.

I agree with the scenario, but am convinced it will be Fauxcahontas who rides in to the rescue.

I could see that happening if Hillary backs out, I don’t see her challenging Hillary for the nomination. Somebody should, she’s a terrible candidate. Barky beat her.

...at the last minute, when Clinton...leaves the race, Michelle will step forward to save her party.

That seems very likely. There will be no challenge. O will avoid it by inducing her to leave the race with the assurance he will nominate her for a seat on the USSC.

How so? She has no elective or administrative experience and hasn't shown much political skill so far. She'd be overwhelmed in the debates.

The Democrats will certainly make use of her to appeal to Black voters and keep the racial edge sharp during the campaign. If African-Americans approve of Michelle Obama, Hillary would be foolish not to make use of her, but Michelle wouldn't be a winning presidential candidate.
