Remember the “Great Wall St Bailout” that four generations of Americans will be required to pay for, that many conservatives in Congress initially proclaimed they would not support? It was when the Tea Party was created and when I joined FR.

It is all theater to keep the common folk (i.e. subjects) initially content while both Parties colluded against the interests of the nation.

If we don’t get big money out of politics, we the people will not have a country of citizens, we will become a nation of serfs. Follow the money in DC and it is no different than the Mexican mob or the Mafia. Every right we have from gun control to freedom of speech is being eroded away by those who want the citizens muzzled and disarmed etc.

You couldn't be more right.

A lot of us cheered when the Citizens United decision came down (myself included), because we thought it would benefit us. And hey, anything that the Left hates that much must be good, right?

Now we start to realize that it undermines our very republic. A wrong-headed decision made to pay off the monied contributors and allow them even more free reign to run roughshod over us.
