Uhuh, then why claim it was a safety issue? That’s the same kind of BS a school used to keep American kids from wearing shirts with the American Flag on them. If the issue was being disrespectful they should have said that. Funny though, so many people accept the defilement and destruction of the American Flag as free speech, but flying it from your truck doesn’t merit the same protection.

You make good points. My post was a hit and run/checking the news sort of thing. I responded narrowly to a post with no regard to the underlying article nor the information in the rest of the thread. That post and my response might have been the end of it if the school official had any brains and kept his mouth shut.

So, as I mentioned, it is beginning to appear the s.o. is likely an anti-American liberal.

The good news is the student body and other members of the community didn't tolerate the abridgment and took a very public stand. Further, if the s.o. actually did dismantle the flag standard apparatus on the student's vehicle, then he ought to be facing at least a criminal misdemeanor charge.

After that, the locals might fund a civil lawsuit brought by the student naming the s.o. in his individual capacity. I doubt he has immunity for his criminal actions.
