Did you see the 1968 democrat convention, in Chicago? Did you see the Rodney King riots in Lost Angeles, in 1992?
Did you know that Japanese, Italian and German origin residents were “rounded up” and placed in internment camps, during WWII because of legitimate concerns?
Training at home, using locals as role players, is a means to simulate conditions, should such procedures be needed, in cases like occupation, pacification like Germany, Japan, Afghanistan, Iraq.
All those incidents should have been handled by local and state police,or even state militia if needed.The State Guards federalization in the early 20th century was just one more federal power grab and attack on states’ rights.
Roosevelt was another progressive dictator who flaunted the Constitutional restrictions.
Centralization of power is always sought by the corrupt and the arrogant who think they know better what everyone needs must do.

So the training clearly states that it is training to round up and intern thousands of Americans?
Because I haven’t seen that anywhere.
Every few years some kooky conspiracy theory goes around about how the military is training for (random doom porn scenario), and turns out to be nothing.
No the country is already fundamentally changed.
Obama has set race relations in the country back 50 years.
He has set foreign relations back to the cold war.
He has weakened our economy, and military.
So we are back to the cold war era basically, but 100x weaker.
