Just to be clear, I’m not saying the bikers did not start shooting, and are not scum of the earth.

What worries me is the number of people who, before all the facts come out, are okay with people getting shot for no other reason than they are biker scum.

We really don’t want to go down that road and need to be very careful about such things.

Abilene Police say Lewis is the President of the Abilene chapter of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, and was involved in the stabbings of two members of the Cossacks Motorcycle Club, based in Callahan County. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the altercation outside the busy South Abilene restaurant.

It’s too bad to see perfectly good motorcycles get dragged down into this sewer of humanity.

Body count is way too high for sagging gangbangers firing 9s held sideways.

In Billy Queen’s book, he said the Mongols were about two-thirds white and the leadership was about 50-50 white and Hispanic.

The events he wrote about happened about 17 years ago, so a lot could have changed since then. But I asked a local cop about this not too long ago, he said those numbers still sound accurate nationally. He said the California chapters have been heavily recruiting from the street gangs there and have pushed the numbers of Hispanics up in the chapters there.

sure I hear ya. There are decent people that ride bikes. I used to do it and hopefully people think I am sort of decent. :-) But there are also scum like the biker gangs in this article that used chains and guns to maim and kill people. no sugar-coating it.

I’m not sure there were any families in there. According to the article it was right next to a family restaurant.

So, you’re okay with summary execution by government just because someone was wearing the wrong colors.

Not at all. My apologies if I gave that impression. What I was trying to convey is that with a little knowledge John Q. Public can know when things are fine and when it's time to get the hell out of dodge. So as not to paint all bikers and those who ride bikes with the same broad brush.

I see you live in Cali as well. I am in San Bernardino county, the worldwide HQ of the most violent MC's. Some of the bikers I see don't fit into the outlaw category. But I do see a lot of the other types cruising up and down I-15 that would be categorized as being part of a continuing criminal enterprise and subject to RICO. NY has the mafia, we have the MC's. Some of my friends who are SBCO sheriff deputies have told me about the link between them and the cartels, moving their poison throughout the southwest.

This isn't Sons of Anarchy. This is the real deal. So yeah I give the outlaw MC's a wide berth and trust the cops to what they need to do to deal with them.

It has been my experience that modern bikers, long hair jackets and all that are Drs and lawyers out having a hoot.

One of them I met at my sister's benefit was wearing a Hillsdale college sweatshirt. He said he was studying history with an eye on teaching.

The level of violence seems odd to me. I have not heard of biker gang wars in rural Virginia since around the 80’s. Most of the gangs were infiltrated and broken up. But these gang members did not go on rampages like the one described in the news. A fight starting in a restroom would not turn into a free for all.

Even though Badndos sound hispanic, they are not.
I know a few , or have run acroos them many times while out on tbe road. I just stay out of their way. They kinda go by the code: Don:t start no crap and there will be no crap. However, fight one, you gotta fight em all; They stick together like glue.

That was a long time ago and that is what you get when you hire thugs for security.

I have been to bluegress festivals with the same folks in Kentucky and it was all sunshine
