I read here on FR that ISIL is preferred because it implies Israel’s being wiped away and that peninsula being part of the Islamic State. No wonder Obama uses it.

I read the same thing here and elsewhere Yaelle. It makes sense that Øbongo wants to insinuate the worst about Israel without having the courage to come right out with his slanders.
