On the highway from Baghdad to Damascus, the 18-wheelers were pounding day and night hauling load after load of chemical and biological weapons westward to huge underground warehouses, offloading their cargoes, and deadheading back to Baghdad to load up again.

Of course only empty warehouses were found in Iraq. Almost everything had been trucked out long before.

But Assad’s warehouses were chock-full, and this was one of the contentions. When various rebel groups captured some of them, using false flag strategy, they made it appear as if Assad were gassing his own people.

The world press and most of the more naive people in the countries they served are so gullible.

Most of the higher-ups had a pretty good idea of what was going on, but they weren’t talking. Still aren’t.

The debate is all screwed up since we know Saddam had WMD and we found many. MSM is still structuring the discussion and we are buying into it.

That is what I remember reading at the time. So much time was wasted that they had plenty of time to truck the WMDs out of the country.
