Years ago when Minnesota still had a “may issue” carry permit, the police chief in the Twin Cities would routinely deny all requests except by a favored few. However, in the rural counties the sheriffs would grant you a permit if you simply stated you might go to the Twin Cities.

I recently returned from a trip to Australia where self defense is not considered "good reason" to carry a knife. Of course guns are not permitted either.

It was a very nice place to visit but I sure wouldn't want to live there.

The VIolent Crime Rate is the new “norm” for the white, gated community liberals, but is has been the “Old Norm” for decades.

That this judge may have went the other way with the ruling is "GOOD REASON". 2A is not the "hunter's amendment". It also is not the "protection against street crime amendment". It is the PROTECTION OF LIFE, LIBERTY, AND PROPERTY amendment... which it is completely reasonable that government is the primary threat to those three things.
