"Cruz supports TPP. "

More than supporting TPP (assuming he's read the approximate 840 pages), he supports TPA (Trade Promotion Authority) which circumvents the Constitution.

Normally, any proposed Treaty would require a 2/3 vote byu the Senate to ratify. It's a Constitutional Power and Responsibility given to the Senate under Article 2, Section 2, Clause 2.

However, the TPA law is the Senate ceding this power AND responsibility to the POTUS. Now the POTUS can negotiate any deal they wish, in secret (actually classified like National Security) and then present the final outcome to the Congress for a straight, 51 votes...up or down vote...no amendments, no changes, no filibuster.

This is PRECISELY what McConnell and the GOP engineered for Obama on the Iran Nuclear "Treaty".

This is what EVERY MEMBER OF THE SENATE GOP VOTED FOR.

And for anyone to say the trust "President Cruz" after he voted for something like this...shows they are an unthinking sycophant, not defender of the Constitution.

Good thoughts M. Notice supporters of this crap deal have ZERO defense for our guys siding with Hillary and Barry on it? They stay quiet. (Well, It CAN’T be defended). No conservative should be even considering helping this TPP thing through.....or helping and supporting Barry....or helping and supporting Hillary.
