Bullets ricocheted around the parking lot of Twin Peaks, the Waco restaurant where a motorcycle gang shootout left nine dead, just minutes after Theron Rhoten pulled in on his vintage Harley chopper for a regional motorcycle club meeting, according to Rhoten’s wife. Katie Rhoten told The Associated Press that her husband ran for cover and was later arrested, along with antique motorcycle enthusiast friends and other “nonviolent, noncriminal people.” Authorities swept up around 170 bikers who had descended on the restaurant for what one club member described as a gathering to discuss laws protecting motorcycle riders.... McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara and Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton declined to comment Tuesday on allegations that innocent bikers were arrested.

. . . means a sane, responsible person should stay away, regardless of “common concerns.”
When you apply for a security clearance, there is a list of organizations you must not be associated with. Sitting around regularly with the Communist Party for talks about “common concerns” would rightly have been seen as association.

Here: Citing police sources in Waco, Cook says he understands the shootout started because a smaller gang called the Cossacks — backed by the Angels — challenged the Bandidos for control of Texas. Several other bike gangs might have joined the battle, too, angry over recent killings by Bandidos members.
“My perception is that the Cossacks have been flirting, if you will, with Hell’s Angles,” Cook said. “If I’m a Bandido, my immediate reaction is: ‘These guys are going to try to make a move and bring an international gang into our state, which is going to cause a war.’”
That is one place. Over the past 3-4 days I read it several places. Therefore I doubt it is far from being true.
With that muzzie beard, he may have been getting confused at what group he was pretending to be at the moment.

Maybe some are innocent of the behavior at that incident, but likely a lot have other warrants outstanding! Check ‘em out, then let ‘em go or hold them as the case may be.
