Yeah, a wallet chain is exactly what I would wade into a gunfight with. Or a stabbing melee. Or to stop someone, even, from using a nail clipper on their feet at the restaurant table next to me. Presumably counting ring sets as "brass knuckles" - one ring, one brass knuckle, and heck doesn't that just swell the metrics nicely. All fat and turgid and pregnant with biker menace.

Just like "arsenal" and "thousands of rounds" of ammunition.
