"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

Sit tight. I predict a clarification once this is polled.

Sadly, Walker is just on the Red side of the Uniparty.
We can’t vote our way out of this, folks.

Yea, Pander-Bear Scott Walker forgot to put his finger in the wind before he stated his position.

I don’t care how many wonks enter the race, there is ONLY ONE CHOICE: Ted Cruz. The GOP can either make sure he’s out front in 2016, or be ready to lose. The GOP is dead. Long live Conservatism.

You’re right. Gotta see how it polls. For crying out loud. The guy is running for President, but doesn’t seem to have a core. He’s had several positions on immigration and now he’s not ready to answer a question on the Patriot Act? People are supporting him without having any idea what he would do as President, because he has never said what he would do. Doesn’t that seem a little bit like putting the cart before the horse?

The NSA Gestapo like snooping, amnesty and open borders, ObamaCare.
A candidate that is not openly, clearly AND consistently against each of these will not get my support or vote. No waffling. You are either for or against. There is no middle ground.

“Ted Cruz has made it clear on the campaign trail: Hes an unapologetic, uncompromising conservative with no tolerance for the mushy middle.
But when it comes to renewing the countrys anti-terror laws, Cruz is taking the middle ground.”...

So, since most everyone who posts on FR calls themselves conservatives, I expect to see fewer pro-Walker posts.

Well you'd think that would be the case, but I wouldn't count on it if I were you.

Mega dittos on that one. Rand Paul is filibustering the Tyranny Act right now. God bless him.

Well Cruz may be taking the middle ground but after repeated questioning Mitt Walker finally admitted he’s for the whole stinking ball of wax. :-)

I trust Cruz to make sound decisions based on our Constitution. All of the privacy in the world means nothing if you are dead from a terrorist attack.

Walker is not particularly articulate. I don’t understand all the excitement about him. He’s rather dull. He’s certainly no Ronald Reagan.
His only claim to fame is he went against the Unions and won.
Reagan did that and so much more!
Ummm, wait, Reagan isn’t running and there seems to be no Ronald Reagan in the country. Bummer.

The ‘excitement’ is that he’s the only one that has a shot at stopping Cruz. And Lesser evil Freepers do NOT want Ted Cruz elected. He is the opposite of what they actually believe in. Liberalism with an R attached.
If you look at the names of the Freepers now supporting (enthusiasticly) Walker, you will see a who’s who of Romneybots, WIN!ers, No matter whats, Lesser evils and Feet to the fires. Almost 100%. There are a couple of those now claiming to be Cruzers but they’ll show their colors as Ted advances.
TLDS: FR’s liberal wing is where you see the enthusiasm coming from.

The owner of this site has recently said he likes two candidates, one of them the candidate you are trying to trash.
The idea that one pronouncement is going to change the mind of the ninety per cent of Cruz supporters who find Walker acceptable is beyond folly.
Y'all sound like pissant and pissant junior. Cruz is good enough to handle it without these kinds of antics, and you'll notice that his focus is on what he does and what he represents. IF you want to support him, kindly do likewise.
