He has courage. This massive, hidden covert monster which USGov created, must be destroyed. It is a monster inside the DC monster, that does what it wants. Whoever runs this monster can do any illegal and anti-USA activity they want. I am all for _real_ security, but give me my Constitutional Republic back; my fathers would add ‘or die’.

The "ability to gather intelligence" is of no value whatever, absent the resolve to use that intelligence decisively against the enemy.

When we have leaders who are ready to name the enemy, and wage ruthless war against him until he is vanquished, THEN they may be entitled to a temporary use of these intelligence tools. Not before.

Hopefully we’ll have a Leader who will do that on Jan. 20, 2017.

He is not my 1st choice for Pres, but I stand with him on this. Go get ‘em, Rand.

What agencies are operating outside of the law? What directors are perjuring before congress? Are you serious? Are you a professional BOT?

My husband retired from a Federal law enforcement agency in 2007, and we have a lot of friends who still work in various agencies that gather and analyze intelligence info under Homeland Security.

They work under the Patriot Act and are appalled that people think they have the time, resources or inclination to sift through data on millions of everyday citizens. They don’t.

The biggest threat to everyday citizens are rogue hackers. I dare say that we have all been impacted by them at one time or another.

You obviously haven’t been following this issue. Admiral James Clapper, directed of the NSA, lied to Congress about this issue.

Yes we need to be able to spy on our enemies, but unless we secure our border, fire the corrupt in our legal immigration system, & allow our troops to actually win wars, there really is no point in continuing an NSA big brother program.
