Think Like a Liberal--or Else (VDH)
RCP ^ | Victor Davis Hanson

What happens when the public does not wish to live out the utopian dreams of its elite leaders? Usually, the answer for those leaders is to seek more coercion and less liberty to force people to think progressively.

Here at home, President Barack Obama came into power in 2009 with a Democratic Congress, a sympathetic press, and allies in Hollywood, academia, unions, and philanthropic and activist foundations.

Yet all that support was not sufficient to ensure "correct" public attitudes about Obama's agenda on health care, entitlements, taxes, guns, abortion and cultural issues.

In the 2010 midterm elections, the Democrats forfeited their majority in the House. In the 2014 midterms, they lost their Senate majority and also lost ground in state legislatures and with governorships across the country. Since early 2013, President Obama's approval rating has been consistently below 50 percent.

How, then, do politically correct planners force the people to think and act properly when they push back?

Bill Ayers answered, sincerely, that they’d probably have to kill 10% of the population in order to get everyone to comply.

To think like a liberal, Jack Nicholson said it best...........“I think of a man and I take away reason and accountability.”

I’m facing major push back at work, a defense contractor.
Every two or three weeks, HR publishes employee profiles of courage, diversity, etc.

A man who leaves his wife and four children under the age of ten for another man - yeah, the workplace is so supportive of my coming out! I said this wasn’t an example to emulate and I felt sorry for his wife, and kids under the age of ten have no freaking clue what Daddy meant about anything except wanting to be happy.

A guy talks about his minor son coming out as gay and now, still minor, transgender. He asked for advice. I said mental counseling, because he probably wants to become a woman because the boys he’s attracted to aren’t attracted to him - and they need counseling whose solution isn’t surgery and hormones for a mental health issue.

They post profiles on transgender employees, men in dresses, women in suits who use the men’s bathroom. The violation of real women’s privacy isn’t allowed, even when said “woman” says it is lesbian (man still attracted to women but in a dress to use women’s bathroom”. Stating that a man in a dress shouldn’t be at the women’s tech luncheon is “transphobic” and discriminatory.

The company actually held a seminar called “What white men really think”. A man with a gay son and thus changed his views on homosexuality, a guy who realizes diversity is so important to make up for the sins of his ancestors, it was essentially a re-education session to say “all your traditional views are BAD, see, all your friends agree with us”.

My only grace, I am female, so I had more leeway than men in complaining about these matters. HR’s biggest headache was the sexual harassment charges I had to bring up on the “transgender” male, because it HAD to have validation from the only female in the work group, and I didn’t recognize it as such, hence endless harassment.

all your traditional views are BAD

because they are based on Christian values,
which we inherently oppose due to our
ideological father’s wishes.

Revoke the second amendment. It’s all they have left.

No, one of the companies that makes all the military hardware.
All the big four defense contractors - Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrup Grumman - are perfect scores on the “out and equal” index because the government gives contract preferences for things like tanks and planes to companies that have higher “diversity” ratings.

If you left the military because you hate social engineering, know that defense contractors are farther and deeper in that process, and thus far worse.

Freedom to cartoon is limited by fear of Muslims.
Do Christians have to start acting like Muslims in order to get a fraction of the rights back?
